Department of Quality Assurance

The QAD safeguards and elevates academic and administrative quality at RLKU Medical College. We design and implement college-wide QA frameworks aligned with WFME/PM&DC standards and UHS requirements, ensuring that teaching, assessment, research, and student services meet defined benchmarks.
Our core work: set quality standards; run structured audits, self-assessments, and program reviews; analyze performance data (student outcomes, assessment quality, faculty development); and issue improvement recommendations with clear timelines and ownership. We support departments through targeted training, templates/SOPs, and on-site guidance.
The QAD is led by a Director and supported by Quality Assurance Officers (QAOs) assigned to standing committees (e.g., Curriculum, Assessment, Research) to embed QA into routine operations. Administrative staff manage data, documentation, and reporting. The DQA reports directly to the Principal, enabling rapid action and transparent oversight.
We promote a culture of evidence, accountability, and continuous improvement—closing the loop via follow-up reviews and stakeholder feedback. Our goal is simple: reliable, student-centered, and accreditation-ready performance across the college—every course, every assessment, every year.
