Established on 20th September 2022, the Counseling and Wellness Centre (CWC) at RLKU Medical & Dental College is a dedicated initiative committed to fostering the mental health and psychological well-being of students, faculty, and staff members. We offer confidential, evidence-based psychological support and counseling services designed to build emotional resilience, promote academic success, and support personal and professional growth.

1. Who can access CWC services?

All students, faculty, and staff of RLKU Medical & Dental College are welcome to use CWC services free of charge. Whether you are facing academic challenges, emotional distress, or personal concerns, our team is here to support you.

2. Are counseling sessions confidential?

Yes. Confidentiality is our highest priority. All discussions within a counseling session remain strictly private, adhering to professional psychological codes of ethics. Exceptions only occur if there is imminent risk of harm to yourself or others, as required by law.

3. How can I book an appointment?

Appointments can easily be scheduled by filling out our online Google Registration Form or by emailing us directly at counselling.wellness@rlkumc.edu.pk. Walk-in inquiries during consultation hours are also welcome.

4. Is there any fee for counseling?

No. All counseling and psychological support sessions are completely free of charge for RLKU students, faculty, and staff members.

5. What types of concerns can I discuss with a counselor?

You can discuss any issue that affects your personal, emotional, or academic well-being, including:

7. What if I need immediate crisis support?

In cases of acute distress or emotional crisis, emergency online support sessions can be coordinated outside routine hours. Please reach out via our designated email immediately for urgent routing.

8. Can I attend initial consultations anonymously?

While complete anonymity is not possible for safety and scheduling reasons, you may choose to discuss initial concerns without disclosing full background details until you feel comfortable and secure.
