Established on 20th September 2022, the Counseling and Wellness Centre (CWC) at RLKU Medical & Dental College is a dedicated initiative supporting the psychological well-being of students, faculty, and staff. We offer confidential, evidence-based services that promote emotional resilience, academic success, and personal growth.

1. Who can access CWC services?
All students, faculty, and staff of RLKU Medical & Dental College are welcome to use CWC services. Whether you’re facing academic stress, emotional challenges, or personal concerns, our counselors are here to help.
2. Are the sessions confidential?
Yes. Confidentiality is our top priority. Everything discussed during a counseling session remains private, except in cases where there is a risk of harm to yourself or others, as per ethical and legal guidelines.
3. How can I book an appointment?
Appointments can be scheduled through our online registration form or by emailing us at counselling.wellness@rlkumc.edu.pk. Walk-in appointments may be available during consultation hours.
4. Is there any fee for counseling?
All sessions are free for RLKU students. Faculty and staff can also access services at no cost.
5. What types of issues can I discuss with a counselor?
You can talk about any concern affecting your well-being, such as:
Academic stress or performance issues
Anxiety, depression, or low mood
Relationship or family challenges
Adjustment to college life
Self-esteem and confidence concerns
6. How many sessions can I have?
The number of sessions depends on individual needs. Your counselor will discuss a personalized plan with you during the first meeting.
7. What if I need immediate support?
In case of extreme distress or crisis, online sessions can be arranged outside normal hours. You can also reach out via email for urgent assistance.
8. Can I remain anonymous?
While full anonymity is not possible during counseling, you may choose to attend initial consultations without disclosing full personal details if you prefer.
