The Department of Neurology, RLKU, aims to provide comprehensive and compassionate neurological care. Currently the department is affiliated with Medicine unit—I for its indoor patients. The department has daily out patient service, emergency service, indoor and neurology consultations to other departments. The department is represented in Hameed Latif Teaching Hospital and Hameed Latif Hospital.
Services provided by our department for the following disorders:
Cerebrovascular disease, such as stroke
Demyelinating diseases of the central nervous system, such as multiple sclerosis
Headache disorders
Infections of the brain and peripheral nervous system
Movement disorders, such as Parkinson's disease
Neurodegenerative disorders, such as Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease.
Seizure disorders, such as epilepsy
Facilities:
Spacious and modern lecture theatres, small group demonstration rooms and Faculty Offices.
