Care of newborn is an essential component of Paediatrics. This workshop provides knowledge and skills necessary to intervene properly and effectively in emergency situation at the time of birth of newborn to improve the quality of care. The rationale for conducting workshop on neonatal resuscitation is :
Neonatal resuscitation is complex and critical task that requires specific knowledge and skill. A workshop can provide hands on training for the health care providers to learn the correct technique for resuscitation of a newborn in an emergency.
Practice of correct techniques under the guidance of experienced instructors is an opportunity to learn from the mistakes and avoid making potentially fatal errors in the future.
Participating in a neonatal resuscitation workshop can increase the confidence in neonatal resuscitation abilities.
Workshop can help the participants understand the correct protocols and guidelines, ensuring that same standards are followed throughout the health care system.
By improving knowledge and skill care givers can respond to emergencies more effectively potentially saving the newborns life.
This workshop is for all the health care providers involved in handling of neonatal emergencies in the hospital.
This workshop is intended to:
